Smart Zikr Ring Battery, Charging and Water Resistance Guide

KELVIOR Smart Zikr Ring infographic showing an IP68 water-resistant design

Quick answer: the KELVIOR Smart Zikr Ring is rechargeable with the supplied magnetic cable and is designed to run for several days per charge. Actual battery life changes with LED brightness, vibration reminders, Bluetooth synchronisation, notification frequency and battery age. Its IP68 rating indicates strong resistance to dust and water under test conditions, but it should still be treated as water-resistant, not indestructibly waterproof.

How long does the battery last?

For normal mixed use, expect several days rather than a fixed number that applies to every person. WESLAMIC's general guidance for entry smart-tasbih models describes roughly three to seven days, but the exact result for your ring depends on settings and use.

The battery will discharge faster when you:

  • Wake the LED display very frequently.
  • Use high display brightness or a long screen timeout.
  • Enable many vibration reminders and phone notifications.
  • Keep Bluetooth synchronisation active throughout the day.
  • Use the ring in very hot or very cold conditions.

How to charge the ring correctly

  1. Dry the ring completely before charging.
  2. Inspect the magnetic contacts and remove dust with a soft, dry cloth.
  3. Align the supplied magnetic cable with the charging contacts.
  4. Connect the USB end to a reliable standard power source.
  5. Check the ring's charging indicator.
  6. Disconnect it when the indicator shows a full charge.

WESLAMIC's general guides give about 60–90 minutes as a typical full-charge range for entry models. Treat that as a practical estimate, not a guaranteed minute count: the starting battery level, USB source, contact alignment and temperature all affect charging time.

Seven ways to extend battery life

  • Use only the brightness you need.
  • Let the screen sleep instead of waking it repeatedly.
  • Enable only useful reminders.
  • Reduce unnecessary phone notifications sent to the ring.
  • Keep the app and firmware current when compatible updates are offered.
  • Do not leave the battery empty for long storage periods.
  • Store the ring in a cool, dry place away from direct sun.

Why is my battery draining faster than before?

Start by checking whether a new app setting increased notifications, vibration or background connection. Restart the ring and app, charge fully and observe one normal day. If the ring becomes unusually hot, loses power immediately after charging or shows swelling or physical damage, stop using and charging it and contact support.

What does IP68 mean?

An IP rating describes resistance to dust and water under defined laboratory conditions. The first digit, 6, indicates the highest dust-ingress protection category. The second digit, 8, indicates water-ingress protection beyond the conditions of IP67, with the exact depth and duration specified by the manufacturer.

It does not mean that every form of water exposure is risk-free forever. Seals can age, impacts can damage them, and hot, salty, chlorinated or soapy water is different from a controlled fresh-water test.

Can you wear it during wudu?

Everyday splashes are consistent with the product's water-resistant design, but sensible care still matters. Avoid pressing controls repeatedly while the ring is submerged, rinse off soap residue with clean water when necessary and dry the ring before charging.

What should you avoid?

  • Charging while the ring or cable contacts are wet.
  • Hot showers, saunas and steam rooms.
  • Salt water, pools and harsh cleaning chemicals.
  • High-pressure water jets.
  • Opening or attempting to repair the sealed body.
  • Continuing to use a ring with cracks or impact damage.

What if the ring gets wet?

  1. Remove it from water.
  2. Wipe it with a soft cloth.
  3. Let it air-dry fully in a ventilated place.
  4. Do not use direct heat, a hair dryer or an oven.
  5. Do not attach the charger until the contacts are completely dry.

Battery and charging questions

Can I use any magnetic cable?

Use the supplied cable. Magnetic connectors that look similar can have different pin positions or electrical specifications.

Can I charge it overnight?

It is better to disconnect after the full-charge indication rather than leaving a small wearable connected unnecessarily for long periods.

Does Bluetooth need to stay on?

Bluetooth is needed for supported app synchronisation and connected functions. The immediate running count appears on the ring itself.

Is the battery replaceable?

The ring is a compact sealed wearable and is not intended for user battery replacement. Do not open it; contact KELVIOR if a battery fault is suspected.
